What Isa brings to the table
Isa spent six years as a startup operator before joining Vendep. As the first hire at a homecare platform, she built the growth function and helped scale the business from almost zero to €4M ARR. Most recently, she was right hand to the founders of a B2B energy tech software company. There she led strategy and special projects, from key accounts to a GTM engine built on AI. Curiosity and an entrepreneurial itch took her from consulting and country sales into startups, and now into VC. At Vendep, her aim is to find great companies early. She spends a lot of time in the ecosystems we invest in and is always up for a chat with founders, raising or not. She’s most excited about founders going after problems that weren’t worth solving before AI.
Working with Isa
Isa is an operator at heart. She knows a founder’s days are long and the problems keep coming. Founders know their business better than anyone, but when you’re that deep in it, a fresh pair of eyes can help. Isa hopes to be a sounding board founders can think out loud with when deciding what matters most.

What’s a book or podcast that changed how you think?
I read Ben Horowitz's The Hard Thing About Hard Things early in my startup career, and I've gone back to it many times since. It made me realize there are no magical CEOs who have it all figured out. Every first-time CEO is figuring it out as they go.
What’s your favorite way to disconnect or recharge?
Anything that gets me outdoors, like a long walk or sailing in the summer. When I'm not outside, you'll find me on the tennis court or yoga class.
What’s your most-used app (besides Slack and email)?
Vinted! A great example of how removing friction unlocks demand that was always there. I always wanted to buy more second-hand but hated the hassle of physical stores and flea markets.
