Vendep Capital appoints Investment Analyst

Vendep Capital welcomes a new team member, Samuli Aheristo to strengthen our team’s analytical capability as an Investment Analyst.

Samuli comes to Vendep from Swappie, the sustainable electronics company, where he has been part of the finance team during the company's fast growth from less than 20 to over 1500 employees.

In his work as a Supply Chain Controller Samuli developed tools, templates, controls and analyses according to the company’s needs. He was also very much part of the scaling process as he supported and assisted reporting in three successful funding rounds. Another important part of his work was supporting purchasing and operations in process development and system changes by analyzing, designing, and problem-solving.

“Samuli’s strong analytical skills will be a resource for us in, among other things, providing our portfolio benchmarks and best practices from the market and his experience from Swappie will add value to our portfolio companies financial processes”, says Vendep Capital’s General Partner Sakari Pihlava.

Samuli early on in his life showed ambition and drive as he was a semi-professional ice hockey player in Canada and in the USA before starting his finance and accounting studies.
